Could it be you? The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of the company's financial, tax, accounting, and treasury activities for the Brazilian and Uruguayan entities, ensuring that monthly closings are performed accurately and within the deadlines established by headquarters. Responsibilities Financial Planning and Management Lead the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of cash flow, ensuring financial health and working capital optimization. Assist the Brazil Director in preparing the annual budget by providing key data. Treasury and Contracts Manage treasury processes, including bank management, financial investments, rate negotiation, and balance optimization. Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payment execution and precise recording into reporting systems. Ensure the accuracy and control of supplier contracts. Tax and Fiscal Compliance Expertise in the calculation, review, and compliance of the main direct and indirect taxes for companies under the Lucro Real regime, including ISS, PIS and COFINS (cumulative and non‑cumulative regimes), CSLL, IRPJ, and withholding taxes (IRRF, PCC, INSS, ISSQN). Proactively monitor, model, and plan for the impacts of the new taxes effective in 2026 due to the tax reform (IBS/CBS). Ensure the correct oversight, review, and submission of all ancillary obligations (handled by the third‑party accounting provider), including SPED Contribuições (EFD PIS/COFINS), ECF (Escrituração Contábil Fiscal), and DCTF/DCTFWeb. Personnel and Social Charges (Management Oversight) Supervise payroll and termination/severance calculations, verifying compliance with CLT requirements. Maintain strict monitoring of social charges (INSS, FGTS), union agreements (Convenções Coletivas), and all eSocial reporting events. Ensure adherence to local labor legislation. Financial Reporting Calculate and regularly update financial estimates, including short‑ and long‑term bonus calculations. Review financial reporting packages prepared by external accounting partners for accuracy and completeness. On a monthly basis, map and upload financial information into Netsuite. Manage contractor invoices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Support the Canadian finance team and serve as the main point of contact for financial questions for Brazil and Uruguay. Qualifications Degree in accounting, business administration, economics, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in a Financial Manager role, preferably in a service‑based business or the IT sector within a multinational environment. Excellent Portuguese and English written and verbal communication skills. Deep knowledge of Brazilian tax regimes (Lucro Real, Lucro Presumido) and complex calculation methodologies. Proven experience managing and reviewing Brazilian ancillary obligations (SPED, ECF, eSocial, DCTF). Familiarity with Brazilian labor law (CLT), social contribution calculations (INSS, FGTS), and eSocial reporting. Solid understanding of accounting (BRGAAP/CPCs) and tax legislation. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Additional Kudos Hold a CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade) certification. Experience with Netsuite. Fluent in Spanish.
