Our client; a global leader in gaming and betting, known for providing unparalleled user experiences. With established brands, it quickly established industry standards. With a global footprint, its reach extends right around the world; driven by a commitment to innovation, it is poised to enter Brazil's regulated market, aiming for a podium position. They now seek to build out the senior leadership team, starting with the crucial first hire: CEO


Purpose:

This appointment as CEO Brazil represents a crucial milestone in the firm’s development journey, requiring a blend of strategic foresight, product knowledge, and commercial prowess. The selected candidate will serve as both a strategic architect and a commercial driver, leading efforts to solidify the organisations position as a leading player in the competitive Brazilian market, paving the way for sustained growth.


As CEO, you will assume responsibility for the management and day-to-day operations of the region. You will be entrusted with the autonomy and authority necessary to drive growth, innovate, and capture market share, ensuring success in the regulated Brazilian market.

This is a position that requires extensive experience in an executive role within an iGaming operator.


Role Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success in the Brazilian market; responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including strategy development, operations management, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement.

Leveraging extensive experience in the iGaming industry or a comparable digital focused sector in Brazil, and deep understanding of the regional market, you will help build and then lead a talented team to capitalize on growth opportunities, enhance market presence, and deliver exceptional value to customers. Ultimately reporting back to senior leadership team at group level.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Management & administration
  • Provides general oversight of all activities, manages the day-to-day operations, and assures a smooth functioning, efficient organization.
  • Assures program quality and organizational stability through development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular evaluation.
  • Assures a work environment that recruits, retains, and supports quality staff. Assures process for selecting, development, motivating, and evaluating staff.
  • Recommends staffing and financing requirements.
  • Financing & Governance
  • Promotes programs and services that are produced in a cost-effective manner, employing economy while maintaining an acceptable level of quality.
  • Oversees the fiscal activities of the organization including budgeting, reporting and audit.


Candidate Requirements

  • Willingness to relocate to Sao Paulo, Brazil.
  • Fluency in English is a must and Portuguese is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in executive leadership roles within the gaming or related consumer industries.
  • Deep understanding of marketing, product, and operations within the gaming or related consumer industries.
  • Deep understanding of the Brazilian consumer and ideally the Brazilian gaming market, including regulatory landscape, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong strategic vision and operational business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute growth-oriented strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform decision-making.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and responsible gaming principles.
