Operations Maganer

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure the Operations team is proficient and well-trained to meet customer & company requirements
- Seek opportunities for alignment, improvement, and added-value
- Drive improvement with supplier (carrier) performance
- Deliver key performance metrics aligned with customer & company expectations
- Provide monthly updates on operations progress, performance metrics, and project initiatives
- Work with other FS functions to deliver annual savings targets
- Work with the Operations teams to resolve transportation issues
- Respond to transportation complaints, claims, and damages
- Enhance the culture and core values of GKN Freight Services and push organization to meet customer scorecard expectations
- Ensure all business is conducted in accordance with the company’s operational and safety procedures, as per the company Control Manual and Delegation of Authority
- Work with GKN Brazil’s plant departments to support projects, process improvements, and adjustments
- Work with the local Foreign Trade Department to meet customer customs needs
**Required qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or foreign educational equivalent
- Consistent experience in similar position
- Experience managing operations within logistics / 3-4PL environment
- Experience with budget preparation and P&L analysis and management
- Experience leading people
Desirable qualifications
- Knowledge on Brazilian customs regulations (Import and Export), and Tax Benefits (Drawback and Ex-Tarifário)
- Master’s Degree in Logistics or a related field
- Experience with Cargowise software
