Senior AI Architect – 100% Remote Work Location - Sao Paulo, Brazil Employment Type: 12 months plus contract Start date – DOE Job Description We are seeking a visionary and hands on Senior AI Architect to lead the technical design and strategy of our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning initiatives In this role you will bridge the gap between Data Science Software Engineering and DevOps You will not just build models you will design the scalable infrastructure MLOps pipelines and architectural standards that allow our AI solutions to thrive in production You will be the technical authority on AI guiding the team through the evolution from traditional ML to Generative AI and Large Language Models LLMs Key Responsibilities Strategy Architecture Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture for AIML solutions ensuring scalability reliability and security Select appropriate technology stacks frameworks cloud services databases for model development training and serving Design and implement robust MLOps pipelines CICD for ML to automate retraining testing and deployment Leadership Collaboration Mentor and provide technical guidance to Senior Data Scientists and ML Engineers Collaborate with Product Managers and Clevel stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical AI specifications Lead code reviews and architectural review boards to ensure high code quality and best practices Innovation Development Stay ahead of the curve on emerging trends specifically regarding Generative AI LLMs RAG Computer Vision or Predictive Analytics Oversee the integration of AI models into existing production applications REST APIs Microservices Edge devices Establish data governance privacy GDPRCCPA and ethical AI standards within the architecture Required Qualifications Experience 7 years in software engineering or data science with at least 3 years specifically in an AIML Architecture or Lead role Education Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science Mathematics AI or a related field Core Tech Stack Deep proficiency in Python and familiarity with C or Java ML Frameworks Expert knowledge of TensorFlow PyTorch Keras or Scikitlearn Cloud Platforms Extensive experience with AWS Sage Maker Azure AI Studio or Google Cloud Vertex AI MLOps DevOps Proven track record building pipelines using Kubernetes Docker Kubeflow MLflow Airflow or Jenkins Databases Experience with Vector Databases Pinecone Milvus Weaviate and Big Data tools Spark Kafka Databricks Preferred Qualifications Nice to Have PhD in Artificial Intelligence Deep Learning or related field Experience designing and finetuning Large Language Models LLMs and implementing RAG Retrieval Augmented Generation architectures Experience with Edge AI or deploying models on resource constrained devices Certifications in Cloud Architecture AWS Certified Solutions Architect Google Professional Cloud Architect.
