We are looking for a new Junior WordPress Specialist to strengthen our SEO Strategy team in Niš in order to increase the speed and quality of our websites.
**THE ROLE**
As a Junior WordPress Specialist in our SEO Strategy Team in Niš, you will be a part of a young, skilled, and very ambitious team. You will be expected to ensure a high level of quality in our deliveries. You will be challenged and can expect a wide variety of assignments as well as routine tasks. You will be coding and modifying across our vast portfolio of websites (1000+), whether it is theme development or adjustment. You will be coordinating with external designers, and collaborating with SEO managers, site/project managers, etc. You should be able to understand and use the English language in a working environment with ease.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Setup and configuration of WordPress websites
- WordPress theme & plugin development
- Optimization and maintenance of websites
- All sorts of WordPress-related troubleshooting
- Creating Python and Google scripts for various processes in the team

**You need to have hands-on experience with**:
- HTML5/CSS3/SASS/PHP/MySQL/JavaScript
- WordPress theme & plugin development
- Responsive development
- Good principles of OOP
**Apart from that, it would be a plus if you knew**:
- Server management / Hosting platforms
- Google scripts
- Data Studio
- Python (Crawling, Scraping, GUIs)
- MVC
**Some additional knowledge that may come in handy**:
- jQuery
- Advanced Custom Fields
- Versioning control through Git
- Gutenberg blocks development
