**Job Description:**

An international financial services firm is modernizing its IT systems by adopting new technologies and integrating with third-party providers. Several projects will be executed in the coming years, focusing on trading, market data, and risk management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design and develop high-performance derivative trading applications.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, including traders, operations, and strategists, to understand and translate business requirements into technical design specifications.

- Identify technology solutions for enhancements or new initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

- Develop unit and integration test cases using industry-standard test automation frameworks.

- Document changes necessary to support business operations.

**Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:**

- 6+ years of experience in enterprise development, with expertise in Java/JDK 8+

- Experience developing distributed applications with a focus on performance.

- Proficiency in message brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka) and cache/in-memory data grids (Redis, Hazelcast).

- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP/gRPC, OOP/OOD, concurrency, and multithreading principles.

- Expertise in Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator) and strong SQL/DB knowledge.

- Experience with automated testing (TDD, BDD, Mutation testing) and familiarity with Linux commands.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of self-organization and self-management.

**Nice-to-Have Skills:**

- Familiarity with Apache Camel and job schedulers (Tidal, Control-M, Autosys).
