We are looking for a professional to join us as a BUSINESS ANALYST (Mining Operations) , responsible for leading technical and economic feasibility analyses of projects within the Technical Services area, supporting decision‑making through financial data, performance indicators, and risk modeling. This role works closely with Engineering, Finance, and Planning teams to ensure that capital and R&D initiatives are aligned with operational strategy and generate sustainable value for the business. ✨ Grow with us Important: Ero does not charge any fees during the recruitment and selection process. Key Responsibilities: Conduct economic and financial feasibility analyses for technical and R&D projects, considering costs, CAPEX, OPEX, IRR, NPV, ROI, and payback. Develop and maintain financial models and analytical databases for investment evaluation and portfolio prioritization. Consolidate technical and financial information into dashboards and performance indicators to facilitate monitoring of project outcomes and returns. Perform risk, scenario, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions and uncertainty mitigation. Map and redesign business processes (BPMN) to enhance operational efficiency and project performance. Support the development and review of business cases in collaboration with technical and corporate areas. Forecast failures and conduct area forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with financial and operational objectives. Assess the financial impact of innovations and continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare executive reports and presentations for committees and investment forums. Ensure compliance with corporate policies on investment, governance, and capital allocation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. Experience in project evaluation, financial modeling, and risk analysis. Proficiency in NPV, IRR, ROI, and integrated planning and BI systems (PIMS, OSIsoft PI, Power BI Embedded). Experience in mining or heavy industry environments. Proven experience in process mapping and redesign (BPMN), as well as forecasting and budgeting. Advanced Excel and Power BI skills; knowledge of statistical or risk modeling tools is a plus. Fluency in English is essential, as the position requires frequent communication with global teams and the preparation of reports in English. Preferred Qualification: Knowledge of probabilistic risk analysis (Monte Carlo, @Risk). Experience with R&D performance indicators and innovation ROI. Experience in failure prediction and operational performance metrics.
