About The Role
In this entry-level Sales Development Representative role, you will identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources - including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research. You will also be responsible for generating leads for the existing sales team with extended duties - including handling client support requests, prospecting, and qualifying new sales leads. You will also hunt whitespace for new logos. You will report to the Executive Director of Sales and Business Development, Latin America.

You Will
- Become familiar with the OPIS/Chemical Market Analytics/McCloskey product portfolios
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Create outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
- Support sales colleagues on outbound strategies and lead-generating efforts
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
- Collaborate with sales teams by creating innovative lead-generation ideas
- Assist sales colleagues with responding to client support requests
- Track all client interactions in Salesforce and provide Salesforce reporting metrics to sales leaders
- Provide internal and external clients with timely assistance as required to help build and cultivate prospect relationships in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
- Help drive leads and online traffic with web-based activities and programs in partnership with the Marketing function
- English (verbal and written) proficiency - REQUIRED
- Ability to travel occasionally for conferences/exhibitions (~10% to 15%)
- Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Teams
- Experience using SalesForce and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or other similar prospecting applications)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related technical field -OR- equivalent work experience
