**About the Team**:
- Shopee Xpress accounting team is responsible for the daily booking of the entire entity, comprising also the operation. Has a closer relationship with the logistic operation, procurement, rental, accounts payable, accounts receivable end treasury teams.- Responsible for the local accounting monthly closing activities, including reporting, preparing and reviewing reconciliations (end to end);
- Bridging Local x US GAAP;
- Account variance analysis for reporting purpose (MoM, YoY and explanations);
- Support daily AP, AR and Treasury functions, ensuring efficient and accurate finance processes for all local operations;
- Assist in ensuring effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements;
- Preparation of accounting obligations and ancillary declarations (ECD);
- Interface with internal and external auditors.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
- 3+ years working experience in accounting;
- Experience working in an outsourcing accounting company;
- Advanced English - written and spoken;
- Knowledge in IFRS and US GAAP;
- Advanced Excel user;
- Flexibility to work on a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Experience in logistics institutions is a plus;
- Oracle ERP experience is a plus.
