Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for AWS DevOps Engineer at Lua Cloud Consultancy located in Curitiba, PR. The professional will be responsible for developing, automating, and maintaining AWS Cloud services.

What You'll Do
  • Build and manage AWS environments using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and RDS.
  • Automate provisioning and deployment of AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and CodeDeploy.
  • Automate deployments and environment configurations across multiple environments.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency
  • Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
What We're Looking For
  • Deep understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools and automation frameworks (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline/CodeDeploy).
  • Expertise in monitoring, logging, and alerting (AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge in CDK and GitHub Actions
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Nice to Have (Bonus Points)
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft certified: Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Kubernetes observability using open source tools.

Work Model

Work Mode: Hybrid – 80% remote, 20% in-person, at our Curitiba office.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 17:00.
