We are currently seeking an experienced Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join our team on board the XT Honesty, a Tanker - Chemical vessel. The vessel is flagged under Liberia and the joining port is Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the general maintenance and cleanliness of the vessel
- Handle mooring lines during docking and undocking operations
- Operate deck machinery and equipment under the supervision of senior crew members
- Assist in the safe loading, stowing, and discharging of cargo
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities
- Perform routine deck duties as assigned by the Chief Officer
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) on board a tanker vessel
- Valid STCW certification, including Basic Training
- Proficient in English language, both written and spoken
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy equipment and perform manual labor
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in the maritime industry
