We are now seeking an Atlassian Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bogota, Colombia. As an integral member of our team, the Atlassian Support Engineer will ensure that our teams have the optimal tools and support to collaborate effectively using Atlassian products.

Role Overview:

The Atlassian Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. You will assist in troubleshooting issues, administering configurations, and optimizing workflows. Your expertise will ensure that our teams utilize the full potential of these tools in an efficient manner.

This role may involve working on a rotating on-call schedule and may require occasional weekend work depending on customer needs. You will play a vital role in enhancing the experience of our internal users while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Troubleshoot issues, administer configurations, and optimize workflows
  • Assist teams in leveraging Atlassian tools efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Support on-call rotations and weekend work as needed
Qualifications
  • Experience with support for Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Strong understanding of software development and Agile methodologies
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English is required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Team player with a focus on collaboration and user satisfaction
  • Prior experience in technical support or system administration is preferred
