Buyer/planner

**Location**:Subotica, RS, **Business Unit**:Atlas**Posting Date**:Apr 17, 2025- Position Requirements:- The Atlas Buyer/Planner is responsible for all purchasing activities associated with supporting production, after sales service, and parts requirements for an assigned product line. Specifically, the Buyer/Planner takes ownership for the fulfillment of all Purchase Orders based on Atlas’ master production schedule including the management of independent customer demands. The Buyer/Planner will also purchase certain indirect material items as needed.- Key Responsiblities:- Practical knowledge of leading-edge purchasing strategies and the material planning process.- Experience in sourcing PCBA, electro-mechanical, fabricated, machined, and electrical components.- Experience in developing and maintaining supplier relationships globally.- Experience managing supplier relationships in an ISO9001 certified company.- Strong drive for continuous process and productivity improvement.- Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop successful relationships with internal and external customers.- Strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.- Supply Chain / Purchasing / Planning certification or working toward certification is preferred (CPSM, CPIM, CSCP).- Requirements for Consideration:- Bachelor’s degree in business or operations management or equivalent.- Sourcing/purchasing/Quality certification such as (CPM, CPIM, CIRM, CQE, CSCP), preferred.- Minimum Years of Work Experience: Five (5) or more years of related experience and/or training.- Knowledge/Skills: Practical knowledge of leading edge purchasing strategies.- Experience managing supply relationships in an ISO9001 certified company.- Strong drive for continuous process and productivity improvement.AMETEK, Inc. is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $7.0 billion.
