We are in search of the best talent for the position of **SFE & Sales Training Manager **to be part of the J&J Vision Care Latin America team, to be based in São Paulo - Brazil or Buenos Aires - Argentina.
Position summary:
The position is responsible for overseeing the Sales Force Effectiveness Strategy for Latin America, leading and executing a range of SFE initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Vision Care LATAM sales organization, resulting in increased sales and customer satisfaction, and maintaining our competitive advantage in the market. This position leads the implementation of SFE in key markets, engaging leaders and ensuring the capability is embedded in the sales organization. This position is also responsible for the Sales Force Training Strategy and annual plan in Latam.
Main Responsibilities:
**Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)**:
- Connects effectively and engages key stakeholders - senior leaders and sales teams - to successfully establish the culture and implement SFE in key markets;
- Oversees the definition of the Sales competency models and profile, in alignment with the Global J&J Vision Care standards;
- Collaborates with business partners in development of tools and resources that drive improved sales performance; sales messaging, segmentation, account & territory planning, competitive intelligence, role-plays, etc.
- Defines and implements key SFE metrics / measurements and establishes reporting routines.
- Supports Market Assessments (Pre, Actual, Post and ongoing action plan support).
- Drives best practice sharing in sales across J&J Franchises and the Global J&J Vision Care SFE, organization fostering the improvement of sales skills in the LATAM organization.
Sales Force Automation and SFE Analytics- Leads the implementation and improvement of CRM solutions and new technologies to enhance sales organization performance - for example SFDC, partnering with IT.
- Develops and improve processes to capture and communicate SFE metrics, Sales Training & Development metrics and SFE dashboards (as leading indicators and insights driven), to internal key stakeholders, allowing the organization to measure performance, KPI's and track Rewards and recognition
- Recommends and helps to establish a performance management system for Sales reps and ensure that reward and recognition systems drive desired Sales Rep behavior.
- Identifies market related information needs, and possible data sources in collaboration with sales, sales operations and marketing.
**Sales Force Training**:
- Leads the competence gap assessment and leads the annual Sales Force training program for the region.
- Develops Sales Reps and Sales Management skills through on the job training, (by spending at least 50% of the time in the field) and also through innovative classroom and e-learning learning platforms, in order to improve sales performance and create future sales management talent pool.
- Masters the Eye to Eye selling model providing training and guidance to Sales Reps and Sales Managers in class and on the job.
- Foster a coaching culture for Sales Managers through classroom and on the job training of the 8 step Coaching model, ensuring robust Coaching plans are in place.
- Oversees and implement induction programs for new comers in the Sales Organization.
**Qualifications**:
Qualifications/Experience desired:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree (mandatory);
- Postgraduate degree or MBA will be an added advantage;
- Strong on-the-job business exposure (min 3-5 years) in sales, marketing and/or sales management. Furthermore, commercial oriented personality with at least 3 years' experience in the medical device industry / healthcare.
- Outstanding customer focus and relationship building skills;
- Experienced in developing effective relationships;
- Demonstrated success of collaboration and work with internal and external stakeholders;
- Proficiency in English is desired
- Proficiency in Spanish is required
- Proficiency in Portuguese is required
Base location: Flexible, Buenos Aires - Argentina or São Paulo - Brazil
