**Main Purpose**:
Working for the Country Controller this role is responsible for the review Trial Balances for Brazilian entities. The role supports all aspects of monthly financial and management reporting.
- This role will give exposure to a number of different areas in a trading business, as well as the opportunity to liaise with other business departments on an international level.**Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities**:
Knowledge and Skills:
- Qualified Accountant
- 2-4 years of solid experience in Accounting and finance roles
- Highly developed communication skills and experience of operating in an international environment
- Familiar with international accounting principles
- Bank reconciliation and cash flow preparation
- Fluent in English/advanced level (is a MUST - used on a daily basis)- Excellent Excel skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute payments and bank reconciliation, as well as cash flow forecasting for companies within the country
- Liaise with international areas to reconcile and explain variations on overheads
- Reconcile local vs Group financials.
- Communicate with outsourced accounting office to book and prepare month-end closing for overhead entities. Keep trial balance and accounts reconciled.
- Prepare intercompany controls to review together with Country Controller
- Control ancillary obligations and keep legal certificates up to date
- Work closely with external auditors to provide support and required documents
- Document of work processes and procedures and identification of efficiencies where possible.
- Ability to adapt to provide support in any applicable task
