The Team

Upstart's Growth team is dedicated to creating a seamless product experience that allows customers to effortlessly discover and access Upstart's credit products. By building exceptional, customer-centric experiences, this team plays a crucial role in making Upstart the premier destination for consumer credit, driving growth and unifying Upstart's product portfolio into a cohesive, multi-product marketplace.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Manager, Growth Platform you will own the strategy and execution for our cutting edge internal tools, integrations and infrastructure that power both seamless customer experiences and the platforms that fuel our growth engine, enabling teams to scale acquisition and engagement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive both large-scale initiatives and smaller, data-driven experiments that optimize customer and business outcomes.

  • Develop and execute strategies to invest in platforms, tools and growth infrastructure to power our partnerships and marketing efforts, focusing on driving value for Upstart's existing customers and enhancing the product experience across multiple credit offerings to build a cohesive multi-product marketplace.
  • Deeply understand your internal stakeholders through ongoing collaboration, ensuring that our technology enables them to deliver higher quality, personalized campaigns that delight end customers.
  • Collaborate closely across marketing, partnerships and ops teams at the company, and work with product managers, engineering, analytics, design to align goals and streamline processes, ensuring successful delivery of platform initiatives.
  • Make smart trade-offs to inform the ongoing platform roadmap, prioritizing features with the highest business impact, balancing speed, scalability, and compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of product management experience owning internal platforms, integrations or tools that support marketing, partnerships, or operations with demonstrated success leading a team with specific work-streams.
  • Ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with peers and stakeholders, from senior leadership to individual contributors
  • Ability to manage and influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience balancing speed, compliance, and scalability, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Proven ability to prioritize, measure and communicate ROI of platform investments.
  • Strong stakeholder-centric mindset with the ability to translate process and workflow gaps into actionable platform features and enhancements.

Travel requirements

As a digital first company, the majority of your work can be accomplished remotely. The majority of our employees can live and work anywhere in the U.S but are encouraged to to still spend high quality time in-person collaborating via regular onsites. The in-person sessions' cadence varies depending on the team and role; most teams meet once or twice per quarter for 2-4 consecutive days at a time.

United States | Remote - Anticipated Base Salary Range $162,100 — $224,500 USD
