World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL is a U.S.based company with a 100% remote workforce. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Generally, working hours will be 9:00am - 6:00pm Eastern, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. The job requires Excellent oral and written command of the English language. Resumes must be submitted in English.
**About the Job**:
You will collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality visual reports and dashboards, making complex data accessible and insightful for diverse stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI, ensuring they are intuitive and impactful.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, and other departments to translate business needs into actionable data insights.
- Ensure data integrity through thorough validation and quality checks, working closely with Data Engineers and Analysts.
- Streamline data collection and visualization processes to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Provide training and guidance on interpreting dashboards and reports to non-technical stakeholders.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on business intelligence and data visualization.- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI is required. Familiarity with VBA is a plus.- Demonstrated ability to create polished and user-friendly dashboards and reports.- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with an ability to present complex ideas clearly.- Experience collaborating across multiple teams and managing diverse priorities.
- **Preferred Skills**:
- Knowledge of data storytelling and best practices for effective communication.- Familiarity with financial or credit risk data is a plus.- Experience in automating reporting processes.
