Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Talent Manager to join our team.

  • Talent Management:
    • Use the performance management process as a basis for engaging consultants on development needs and areas for training.
    • Develop relationships with each consultant and become a trusted advisor.
    • Assist in directing consultants towards resources for career advice.
    • Escalate employee relations issues or questions around general Human Capital operations.
    • Monitor work-life-quality issues and escalate when needed.
Key Responsibilities

Talent Management

  • Engage consultants on development needs and areas for training.
  • Become a trusted advisor to each consultant.
  • Direct consultants towards resources for career advice.
  • Escalate employee relations issues or questions around general Human Capital operations.
  • Monitor work-life-quality issues and escalate when needed.

Project Staffing

  • Understand the nuances of project roles.
  • Liaise with project leaders to understand staffing needs.
  • Collect project details from Partners and Practice Group TMs.
  • Anticipate capacity issues and manage consultant expectations.
  • Communicate staffing outcomes to consultants.

Consultant Development and Performance Management

  • Understand the performance management framework and competency model.
  • Coordinate with the Learning and Development team on training.
  • Read all performance appraisals and follow-up on issues.
  • Coordinate annual Career Review meetings for consultants.

Data, Analysis and Reporting

  • Review weekly utilization reports.
  • Assist with project pipeline and consultant availability reports.
  • Prepare documents for senior leadership meetings.
  • Analyze performance outcome results.

Oliver Wyman Development

  • Participate in project work within the Human Capital function.
  • Organize own work and guide colleagues on project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.

Skillset

  • Establish and grow relationships at all levels.
  • Credible, professional communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Comfortable working with data.
  • Creative thinker who continually seeks process improvements.
