Nidec Aerospace is a newly created Joint Venture between Nidec and Embraer which aims to take a leading role in the Electrification of Aircrafts. From ideation to production, you will work with a diverse and experienced team of design engineers to support aerospace industry leaders and spearhead technological advances in transport decarbonization. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr Accounting Analyst to join our team in São Paulo. This role is critical to maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, both local and international (IFRS), and will be responsible for delivering accurate financial insight to support strategic decision-making. Location: São José dos Campos - State of São Paulo, Brazil Key Responsibilities Analyze financial data and prepare accurate, timely reports for management. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS and Brazilian GAAP). Verify the accuracy of financial statements and related documentation. Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Maintain and oversee general ledger activities. Support internal and external audits, including documentation and process improvements. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning. Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives. Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience. CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade) certification preferred. Strong knowledge of IFRS and Brazilian GAAP. Proficiency in accounting systems; experience with SAP and BPC is a plus. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Advanced English proficiency is required.
