We are focused on simplifying application building and looking for passionate and innovative individuals to join our team About The Position As a Solutions Architect, you will be a specialist in Azion products, capable of translating and interpreting market trends and business challenges into scalable solutions. Acting as a Trusted Advisor, you will ensure best practices in the use of our platform and support the success journey of our clients. You will validate, test, and debug complex issues related to clients’ use of Azion systems, and research new technologies to deliver tailored solutions. As a Solutions Architect, you must be committed to scalability, performance, high availability, and security best practices, ensuring success across various industries such as Finance, E-commerce, Media, and Education. You are highly technical, client-focused, and able to communicate complex concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally. You understand enterprise environments, argue from a technical perspective, and inspire confidence. You stay up to date with Azion’s platform and market innovations and most importantly, you take initiative and chase results. Your Impact Actively participate in the planning and structuring of integration projects; Integrate client systems with Azion’s platform, guiding and configuring environments when necessary; Be the go-to expert for Azion products and solutions; Support Customer Growth teams in guiding clients through their success journey, including resolving questions and engaging with Product and Engineering teams; Support Technical Support teams by acting as a platform expert; Identify and propose improvements in both processes and products driven by customer demand or internal insights; Research and propose effective solutions for complex and non-standard use cases (corner cases). What You’ll Bring Understanding (and eagerness to learn) about networks and how the Internet works; Protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, BGP; Security solutions: Firewalls, WAFs, Bot Management, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS, Zero Trust, Paywall; Configuration and use of proxies and reverse proxies; Content Delivery Networks (CDN), including caching and edge caching; Experience with troubleshooting techniques: connectivity, routing, protocol errors, web applications, application mapping, etc.; Knowledge of web performance optimization: latency, throughput, load distribution, load balancing; Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, BASH, JavaScript); Proactive mindset for identifying and suggesting improvements; Ability to handle multiple projects in an organized and collaborative way; Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and project delivery; Willingness to stay updated with market technology trends; Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology Management, or equivalent experience; Intermediate English. Bonus Points Experience in consulting, technical training, or customer support; Ability to analyze and define modern, distributed architectures; Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and event/function-based integration; Hands‑on experience with serverless and Function as a Service (FaaS) models, including Lambda Functions, Cloudlets, Workers, or similar technologies, with a focus on low latency, scalability, and orchestration; Knowledge of streaming, distributed storage, high‑performance web servers, security, and cloud environments; Advanced English and Spanish.
