**Boeing Brazil** Engineering Center is seeking an **Entry Level Landing Gear and Hydraulic Systems Engineers** reporting directly to the Systems Engineering Manager of the Boeing Brazil, Sao Jose Dos Campos site.
This team of Systems Engineers will lead the foundations of revolutionizing airplane development at Boeing. The Systems Engineering team will work on Product Development in several different programs.
The selected individuals will work within Airplane Systems engineering teams and interface with suppliers or internal Boeing organizations to oversee development of mechanical and hydraulic systems, including hydraulics, landing gear actuation, steering, and braking systems, and associated components for commercial aircraft systems design. Airplane Systems work spans the full range of the aircraft lifecycle: initial concept studies, development, certification, continuous improvement in production, and ongoing support for the duration of their service life. Positions available include work at the systems level as well as across a range of components, including: hydraulic pumps, reservoirs, accumulators, actuators, motor-operated valves, landing gear, wheels, tires, and brakes.
This position within Landing Gear and Hydraulic Systems pertains to engineering positions working on one or more of the many existing programs (737, 747, 767, 777, 787) and new product development airplanes.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment.
- Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers.
- Performs limited detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
- Supports team in performing spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems.
- Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems.
- Assists in supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts.
- Works under close supervision.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)**:
- Knowledge of working in the design, coding or analysis of one or more of these airplane systems: Electrics, Engines, Air Systems, APU, Hydraulics, Propulsion, Landing Gear/Brakes, or Auto Pilot.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, with degrees in Aeronautical, Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
- Must be legally able to work in Brazil.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)**:
- Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.
- Experience working with cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment.
- Experience with Model Based Development tools.
