Responsibilities Integrate directly into the client’s team and collaborate with their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis. Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related frameworks. Design and implement RESTful web services and database interactions with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases. Use AI engineering tools (OpenAI Codex, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to accelerate code development and review AI‑generated code for quality and performance. Orchestrate, validate, and integrate model‑produced code into larger systems using AI‑assisted or agentic development workflows. Contribute to libraries as needed and create and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience. Advanced English proficiency. Successful completion of a four‑year college degree. Deep experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework. Experience designing and implementing RESTful web services using Spring MVC or similar technologies. Experience working with PostgreSQL or traditional SQL databases. Experience using AI engineering tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or similar systems. Ability to prompt, guide, and review AI‑generated code to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability. Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted or agentic development workflows, including automating or facilitating software engineering tasks. Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed. Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Forensic attention to detail, positive mindset, and a can‑do attitude. Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams and on large, complex systems. Ability to take extreme ownership over your work and deliver on commitments to clients. Consistency in working 40 hours per week. Benefits Competitive pay. 100% remote work.
