Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other developers, product owners and managers, and business stakeholders to craft new product features and improvements for our platform
  • Operate with a large degree of independence, supported by senior technology leaders
  • Bring projects from initial concept through all development cycles: definition, development, debugging, initial release, and iteration
  • Build enterprise-level solutions ensuring scalability, maintainability, and supportability
  • Contribute in an open, collaborative environment with peers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer/Engineer or similar role using open source technologies
  • Strong experience with Python (Flask or Django), and exposure to object-oriented languages
  • Experience with full-stack development including back-end services, data storage and access models, and modern web frameworks
  • Experience creating and maintaining automated CI tools (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Proven ability to refactor and improve object-oriented code within Agile development
  • Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms
  • Experience in a SaaS product and ability to work effectively in a corporate setting is desired
  • Prior experience in B2B financial services or alternative asset management is a plus
