You'll be architecting Elixir applications that handle real-world financial transactions at scale, building systems that are both elegant and bulletproof. If you're passionate about concurrent programming, fault-tolerant architecture, or building high-performance distributed systems, this is your canvas. What You'll Be Doing: Build & Ship: Develop, test, and deploy backend features and APIs in Elixir, ensuring safety and efficiency for millions of users. Craft Experiences: Design reliable backend systems and APIs for complex financial operations. Solve & Optimize: Investigate issues and improve performance, concurrency, and scalability. Collaborate & Plan: Participate in planning, estimation, and scoping with product and engineering teams. Mentor & Learn: Review pull requests, pair program, and contribute to continuous improvement. What You'll Need To Succeed: AI-First Mindset: Familiar with AI tools like GPT and open-source LLMs, integrating them into workflows. Elixir Expertise: Solid experience with Elixir, Phoenix, OTP principles, and actor model. Clean Code Advocate: Follow "Clean Code" principles, functional programming, and domain-driven design. SOLID Foundation: Apply functional principles daily, writing immutable and fault-tolerant code. Concurrency Master: Deep understanding of GenServers, Supervisors, and process communication. Testing Champion: Experience with ExUnit, property-based, and integration tests. Ship Experience: Developed and deployed Elixir apps, familiar with distributed systems and zero-downtime deployment. Infrastructure Bridge: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana. Distributed Systems Background: Experience with message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka) or microservices architecture. Global Communicator: Advanced English proficiency for international collaboration.
