The Opportunity

We are hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer for our Wellbeing Access Squad within CIA (our B2B focus area) in Brazil This is a Remote – Brazil position, meaning you can work from anywhere within the country. The role is open to candidates in Portugal.

Our primary objective in CIA is to establish and maintain a platform that seamlessly integrates our benefits and services into employees\' lives across companies of different sizes worldwide. You will focus on simplifying the employees\' signup experience, making the process seamless, secure, and stress-free for end-users, working with a team of developers, a product manager, and a UX designer.

Your Impact
  • Collaborate to define the architecture of systems and integrations, bring innovation to the table, and ensure design docs are up to date.
  • Support existing systems to enhance functionality, scale, and transform to meet product demands.
  • Ensure successful deliveries and promote long-term technical health of journeys.
  • Write maintainable code and tests.
  • Participate in incident resolution and troubleshooting in production; write post-mortems.
  • Help and mentor other developers.
  • Ensure high-quality code using best practices such as code review and pair programming.
  • Live the mission: care for your own wellbeing and colleagues, fostering work-life balance.
Who You Are
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages (Java/Kotlin/Golang/Typescript/etc.). Golang is a plus.
  • Believer in automation (tests, CI/CD, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams in several countries.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Experience designing and developing modern web applications.
  • Open to new experiences, eager to learn and grow.
  • Willing to work in an agile environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
