Automation Architect Job Opportunity Are you looking to transform your career in the IT services industry? We are seeking an Automation Architect to join our team and lead the development of enterprise automation architecture strategies. We require a strong background in electrical engineering, control systems, computer engineering, or related fields to design and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks that integrate PLCs, DCS, SCADA, historians, MES, and enterprise systems while ensuring safety and security. As an Automation Architect, you will provide strategic technical leadership for major automation initiatives, digital transformation projects, and plant modernization efforts. You will develop automation standards, design patterns, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance across all facilities. You will collaborate with nuclear leadership, operations, engineering, IT, and cybersecurity teams to align automation strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in advanced technologies including AI/ML, digital twins, edge computing, and predictive analytics is essential in architecting solutions for nuclear operations. In addition to ensuring automation architectures comply with NRC regulations, 10 CFR requirements, NERC CIP standards, and nuclear cybersecurity protocols, you will lead technical assessments and due diligence for automation system upgrades, replacements, and vendor selections. Your mentorship and guidance of automation engineers and architects will foster technical excellence and innovation within the organization. By driving continuous improvement, you will identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and system reliability through automation.
