About the Role:

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on ownership, collaboration, and delivering measurable value. You will report to our Head of Data and split your time between owning challenging analytical work and guiding a team of analysts to build and deliver top-tier data products.

You will drive data strategy and execution across a portfolio of high-impact data products for investors, focusing on accuracy, client value, and efficiency.

You will operate as a player-coach, setting a high bar for quality, speed, and innovation while coaching and empowering your team to do their best work.

You will work with massive amounts of data to help answer key questions about the sectors we cover and datasets we analyze.

You will tackle complex data problems, using your analytical skills to optimize methodologies, test new datasets, and solve data-related problems.

You will drive standardization, simplification, and improvements to our data pipelines and workflows to minimize risk and maximize efficiency and value.

You will partner cross-functionally with other teams to uncover and execute on opportunities to further drive customer value and optimize our processes and pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, forecasting, or business intelligence, including 1-2 years in a management or lead capacity.
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, Pyspark, or other programming languages to explore and transform large, complex datasets; Proficiency with Github and familiarity with Databricks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to approach complex problems logically and decisively, and implement scalable solutions.
  • Strong ownership and entrepreneurial mentality and enthusiasm about working with others to make a big impact.
  • Preferred: Experience working in or alongside capital markets, investment research, or financial services.
