Location: Ideally Nelson/Tasman Region (but it could be a remote position – NZ based for the right person.)

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you'll be an essential part of our award-winning team, working closely with our marketing team to bring our clients' brands to life. You'll be responsible for creating eye-catching visuals across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising campaigns. You'll receive professional training and mentorship, helping you to kickstart your graphic design career while making a tangible contribution to our client's success.

And now, we're searching for a passionate and driven Junior Graphic Designer to join our team.

While prior experience is an advantage, it’s not a must. We prioritise candidates who have a genuine passion for marketing and design, exceptional creative thinking abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving is essential.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Design engaging social media graphics (static and animated).
  • Create visually compelling email templates and email automation headers.
  • Develop high-impact visuals for paid advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Display Network, social media)
  • Design marketing documents such as brochures, presentations, and reports.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs align with campaign objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and best practices.
  • Ensure brand consistency in design using brand guidelines.
  • Design for website graphics and assets.
  • Graphic design for any creative required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant qualification in design, or a design portfolio to share.
  • Understanding of Canva and Adobe Suite specifically Photoshop, In-design & Illustrator.
  • An understanding of design principles.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be eager to learn new skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.
  • Must have NZ residency.
