How you will create an impact

Main activities:

  1. Handle Financial Lines Major and Complex Claims (i.e. Cyber, D&O, E&O, IMI, EPL) from initial notification through to final settlement within an agreed level of authority and within service standards.
  2. Review/input reserves timely and continually evaluate reserves during the life of the claim to ensure accuracy of financial exposure. Identify and make reserve recommendations to management on claims evaluated greater than assigned authority.
  3. Analyze and evaluate Financial Lines claims and ensure proactive claims handling.
  4. Engage and oversee the work of vendors, including counselors, accountants, experts, and loss adjusters.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers & brokers.
  6. Work closely with underwriters and distribution to develop a thorough understanding of the business and contribute to “best practice” overall.

What you’ll need to succeed

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  3. Major/complex claims handling experience.
  4. Strong technical knowledge in Financial Lines Claims and capability to manage and oversee assigned claims.
  5. Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and strong negotiation skills.
  6. Ability to identify and report performance issues to management.
  7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at every level both internally & externally.
  8. Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and litigation norms in the claims area.
  9. Ability to collaborate and successfully manage work when working at home or in the office in a flexible work environment.
  10. Advanced English skills.
