Food/Feed Safety & Sustainability Specialist The position is part of the Quality Assurance & Sustainability Certifications team. The Food Feed Safety & Sustainability Specialist works in close cooperation with the trading, origination, operations, and Sustainability team regarding external certifications and regulations on Quality and Sustainability in the feed, food, and biofuels industry. The individual is responsible for compliance with international quality standards, external certification schemes and legislation requirements. The individual will be the contact person in Brazil (BR) and Uruguay (UY) for COFCO International Limited (CIL) offices for questions related to product certification/regulation requirements. Responsibilities Working in close cooperation with the traders and operations teams within the CIL BR and UY entities regarding certifications and regulations in the feed and/or food; Responsible for compliance with international quality standards, certification schemes, and legislation; Regulatory support for topics related to food and feed safety; Planning and execution of internal audits for BR and UY entities for the different types of certifications; Organizing and leading the external audits for BR and UY CIL Offices for different types of external certifications; Internal and external communication related to food/feed safety and quality; Training of BR and UY teams in food/feed safety, quality, regulatory, and voluntary schemes (GMP+, etc.) to increase/maintain the knowledge of the teams; Maintaining (local) Quality Assurance manual(s); Help other offices regarding the feed/food/sustainable/biofuel; Maintain/update relevant quality assurance and sustainability information per each BR and UY entities in SharePoint; Impromptu tasks regarding QA≻ Ah-hoc requests by the regional CRO and Functional Manager. Requirements University degree or professional certification; Knowledge about Food & Feed Safety,and Sustainability; GMP+ knowledge (proven experience on Internal and External Audit experience); Other QA certification know-how (HACCP, EFISC-GTP, etc.); Knowledge of external sustainability certifications, such as 2Bsvs, ISCC-EU, RTRS, among others; Excellent written and spoken English and Portuguese, Spanish is a plus; Experienced user of MS Office applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
