Crafting technical specifications that resolve critical technical decisions and emphasize simplicity, performance, and sustainable design. Deploying generative AI solutions to automate and optimize engineering workflows, consistent with the organizational goal of minimizing manual effort. What You Won't Be Doing Pure people management; your technical and business judgment will be the defining factors in this role. Abstract strategies without actionable implementation paths; your guidance must be grounded in product-level understanding. Vice President Of Product Engineering Key Responsibilities Serve as the CTO of one or more education products, controlling core technical capabilities and generating business value through flawless execution and strategic leadership. Basic Requirements Deep experience or interest in data-driven learning science. 7+ years of experience making the important architecture and design decisions on software projects, such as the application of architecture design patterns or significant open source technologies. 2+ years of experience making design decisions involving the use of cloud computing services (primarily AWS). 4+ years of experience in positions with full technical and delivery ownership on a revenue-generating product. Experience building product features that make advanced use of Generative AI. Experience using Generative AI to simplify work processes.
