UX UI Designer

Job Description

As the UX/UI Designer at EdgeUno, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital presence and user experience of our online platforms. You will be responsible for designing engaging and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring optimal user experience, and implementing SEO best practices. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our content and how we nurture leads through continuous improvement and updates. Additionally, you will coordinate the unification and integration of website and online platform projects, ensuring a cohesive digital strategy.

Location & Language Requirements

• Native Portuguese speaker (verbal and written).
• Must be based in Latin America
• Preferred time zones: GMT-5, GMT-4, or GMT-6.
• Willingness to relocate to our Uberlândia office is highly desired but not mandatory.

Core Responsibilities

• Create New Layout (Look & Feel): Design and develop new layouts that are visually appealing and user-friendly. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that align with our brand identity. Ensure all designs are responsive and optimized for various devices.
• Guarantee Optimal UX: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights. Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify areas for improvement. Implement UX best practices to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
• Implement Best Practices for SEO: Optimize web pages for search engines to improve organic search rankings. Integrate SEO strategies into the design and content of the website. Monitor and adjust SEO tactics as needed to achieve optimal performance.
• Continuous Improvement and Content Updates for Lead Nurturing: Regularly update blog posts, success cases, and product portfolio content. Ensure content aligns with latest marketing strategies. Collaborate with content creators to maintain consistent voice and tone.
• Project Management: Manage website projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery. Coordinate with marketing, product, and development teams. Maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate the unification and integration of website and online platform projects.
• Design Principles: Apply graphic design principles to create visually compelling assets for website and mobile apps. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
• Market & Competitor Awareness: Stay informed about market trends and competitor strategies. Conduct benchmarking and market analysis. Adapt strategies based on insights.
• SEO Knowledge: Use tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to track SEO performance. Implement technical and content-based SEO improvements. Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and successful projects.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress or HTML, including theme customization and plugin management.
• Deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices, with ability to integrate strategies into design and content.
• Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Dreamweaver) and familiarity with Sketch, Figma.
• Proficient in conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing feedback to drive design decisions.
• Up-to-date with market trends, competitor strategies, and technological advancements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, multicultural teams.
• Strong project management skills, coordinating timelines and ensuring project goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ensure your resume is submitted in English, as other languages may not be considered.
