Why consider this job opportunity: Salary up to $150,000 per year Merit-based financial rewards and comprehensive, market-competitive benefits Flexible work environment with a company-wide commitment to work/life balance Opportunities for ongoing professional growth and development Collaborative team atmosphere valuing contributions from all employees Remote work flexibility, with a preference for candidates located in Arizona What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Lead and manage energy projects through all stages of development, including planning, permitting, and implementation Oversee energy facility siting/routing, permitting, environmental field surveys, and public outreach Manage preparation of environmental and land use permit applications at local, state, and federal levels Represent clients before regulatory agencies and participate in public hearings Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior staff What is Required (Qualifications): B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's preferred) 10+ years of related consulting experience, including technical team and project management Demonstrated experience with Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and/or Utah regulatory agencies Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related project management tools How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience with Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) right-of-way process and Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) process Experience with electrical transmission siting and routing Experience managing multi-state energy permitting efforts We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
