The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many different hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar role(s) in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code. You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will have a passion for innovation and creative problem solving, as well as be adaptable to the ever-changing landscape of the corporate infrastructure environment. You will need to be a highly motivated, dependable and an experienced technologist who shares our passion and wants to be a part of a fast moving and highly execution-oriented team. You will work closely with your Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including, but not limited to, Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and fast learner who is looking for a supportive environment to continue to grow their IT skills and expertise. This role will report to the Director of IT. About the Role You will be customer-facing, and the first line of support; you own support, and you are passionate about providing an outstanding support experience to our employees — via Slack, Jira, etc. We’re all Mac. You are a pro at troubleshooting, using the terminal, and making macOS work in the enterprise. You will be responsible for procuring and delivering technology equipment. You will own the experience of tech onboarding of all new employees as well as tech retrieval of all outgoing employees. You’ll design, test, build, and document programs and policies and tools, and contribute improvements to existing knowledge with your experience and background. You’ll support and manage SaaS applications — Google Workspace (GSuite), Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, etc. You will work with and manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools — MDM, EMM, Jamf, etc. You’ll own and contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.). You’ll detail your solutions, craft help articles and automate busywork. Manage, respond to, and fix critical incidents and issues as needed, through to completion. You’ll juggle help desk tickets and can effectively prioritise them. You’ll work on projects over sprints, and detail your work in tools like Jira (experience with agile methods and sprints). You’ll set and work to your own objectives and key results with minimal direction, and can align them to the team and the company goals. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc. Ability to utilize open source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta, create workflows in Okta. Knowledge of APIs and system integrations. Remote support experience across multiple countries and time zones; familiar with shipping and receiving hardware and customs. Strong communication skills across all media and ability to explain complex concepts clearly; proficient writing in tickets, email or Slack. Clear, friendly, concise writing; sensitivity to different cultures; a mindset focused on delivering a great employee experience. Security-minded with understanding of PGP; basic networking fundamentals and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching); ability to methodically troubleshoot problems using OSI model layers. Self-management with the ability to scope projects and work across multiple teams; strong organizational and task-management skills. Nice to have: familiarity with AWS, GAM and command-line interfaces; Jamf, Okta and Google Workspace certifications.
