What’s the opportunity?

We seek a Data Ops Engineer with experience in fast-paced environments, high tolerance for ambiguity, and a passion for continuous learning. Motivated, adaptive individuals who enjoy team development solutions and can interact with customers, understand needs, and propose solutions are ideal candidates.

What will I be doing?

  • Developing Python components, Terraform modules, and pipelines to automate processes.
  • Promoting API usage from different systems to extract, update data, trigger, and monitor processes, and integrate infrastructures.
  • Deploying, maintaining, and overseeing cloud infrastructure for reliability and performance.
  • Creating Data Models, best practices, and technical documentation for users.
  • Developing DevOps and DataOps policies, practices, and processes.
  • Identifying opportunities, generating innovative solutions, and improving product features.

What skills do I need?

  • Strong in Python, Bash, and SQL.
  • Familiar with databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Experience with development tools like Terraform, GitHub, Docker, dbt.
  • Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, IAM, SQS, RDS, Kinesis, Glue, EKS, etc.).
  • Proficiency with data pipelines and process improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Comfortable with rapid iterations and creative problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Enjoys diverse, non-hierarchical environments.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
