What kind of profile are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel)
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a laboratory
Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality control and acceptance of samples
  • Prepare materials and the laboratory for analyses
  • Perform basic laboratory analyses
  • Ensure currency of procedures, instructions, and SOPs related to the laboratory
  • Track and ensure current status of laboratory consumables stock
  • Ensure adequate supply of consumables for analyses
  • Maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment
  • Organize cabinets and materials in the laboratory
  • Conduct temperature and calibration checks for laboratory equipment and ensure currency
  • Prepare samples for external analysis
  • Ensure timely completion of analyses according to lead times
  • Work under supervision of manager following policies/procedures
  • Adhere to biosafety and hygiene rules in the laboratory
  • Adhere to working hours
  • Fulfill ISO 22000-HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements
  • Fulfill ISMS (ISO 27001) requirements for information confidentiality, integrity and accessibility
  • Provide support to affiliated laboratories as needed
  • Perform necropsy on dead chickens from the field and slaughterhouse
  • Take samples from organs under aseptic conditions and perform requested analyses
Competencies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Willing to gain knowledge in laboratory and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of legislation, certification standards and customer requirements
  • Knowledge of the production chain
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems; able to learn new technical systems
  • Open to improvement
  • Eligible to travel
