Senior DevOps Engineer, Trilogy (Remote) - $100,000/year USD role at Trilogy. This position focuses on transforming complex, fragmented infrastructure into a streamlined, automated system across multiple AWS ecosystems.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Orchestrate grand-scale infrastructure transformations, migrating legacy systems into a modern AWS ecosystem.
  • Design and deploy monitoring solutions that predict and prevent issues before they impact users.
  • Lead critical database migrations and optimization initiatives while maintaining near‑perfect uptime.
  • Create intelligent automation systems that transform routine operations into self-managing workflows.

  • Avoiding needless meetings and bureaucracy; this role emphasizes action and impact.
  • Maintaining legacy systems without modernization; you’ll be empowered to optimize.
  • Waiting for long approval chains to implement fixes; you’ll have autonomy to act.
  • Working in isolation; this role requires a holistic approach to infrastructure.
  • Being resource-constrained; the role focuses on infrastructure excellence with appropriate support.
Senior DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure by implementing monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices across our product portfolio to ensure reliability and operational excellence.
Basic Requirements
  • Proven AWS infrastructure mastery with comprehensive knowledge of AWS services and architecture patterns.
  • Expert-level programming capabilities in Python or JavaScript for creating automation tools.
  • Extensive experience managing multi-engine database environments (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL).
  • Advanced container orchestration skills with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Advanced Linux systems administration expertise.
