• Linux Systems Administration: Hands-on experience managing Linux servers, working with system services, troubleshooting performance issues, assisting with backups and recovery.
• Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls (iptables/nftables), and basic load balancing and troubleshooting in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Web Server Management: Configuring and managing web servers like Apache or Nginx, including virtual hosts and SSL certificates.
• Public Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / GCP / OCI / Azure): Exposure to core cloud services like compute, storage, networking, and IAM; familiarity with cloud-based monitoring and backup tools.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Practical experience using Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure; code versioned using Git and aligned with best practices.
• Configuration Management: Working knowledge of tools like Ansible or Puppet to automate routine configuration and ensure consistency across environments.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI; exposure to automating builds, testing, and deployments.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience using Docker for application packaging; exposure to Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized workloads.
• Monitoring & Observability: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana; basic understanding of log aggregation systems such as ELK or Loki and setting up alerts.
• Scripting & Automation: Comfortable writing Bash scripts and basic Python code to automate operational tasks and interact with APIs.
• Incident Response & On-Call Readiness: Exposure to on-call support and troubleshooting production issues; involved in incident resolution and learning from post-incident reviews.
• Security & System Hardening: Basic understanding of Linux security principles such as TLS, SSH hardening, patching, and IAM usage within cloud environments.

• Work closely with developers and senior engineers to implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure.
• Manage cloud-based and on-premises environments, supporting compute, storage, and networking operations.
• Troubleshoot Linux-based systems and assist in configuration, performance tuning, and system hardening.
• Use cloud-native services and DevOps tools to automate infrastructure and streamline operations.
• Write and maintain Python scripts and shell utilities to support automation and internal tools.
• Assist in building CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and environment provisioning workflows.
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, and alerting setup using modern observability tools.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support incident investigation and resolution efforts.
• Follow project plans and deliver assigned tasks within expected timelines and priorities.
• Learn and apply best practices around reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
