**Purpose of Position**:
This role will work closely with Product Development Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Teams, and Product Managers to ensure product design is always aligned with business requirements and, project milestones are delivered according to agreed timeline.
**Major Areas of Responsibility**:
- Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams at different stages of their agile maturity.
- Guiding the scrum team(s) to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.
- Using empirical data to help the team(s) assess their Scrum Maturity, optimize scrum team velocity, and identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance.
- Proactively addressing systemic impediments to team agility and guiding the team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers.
- Scheduling and facilitating scrum events and decision-making processes.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised, with an emphasis on problem-solving.
- Being hands-on with solving problems - resolving roadblocks, issues, concerns, expectation misalignment thoughtfully, bringing others along.
- Establishing deep trust and regard within agile teams - via leading by example, adhering to commitments and leading from behind.
- Effectively working with various onshore and offshore technological and data vendors and consulting firms, craftily blending technical and people skills across internal FTEs, contractors, vendor staff, offshore team members to create an exceptional A-team focused on rapid value generation and obsessive about simplifying lives of our employees and participants.
- Lead with influence, without ego and exhibit a collaborative spirit, with an unyielding motivation to do what's best for the organization.
**Knowledge and Experience - Required**:
- Minimum of 2 years' practicing agile scrum master experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in solution delivery, especially information management and data engineering solution delivery, analytics delivery (Kanban), and delivery of solutions designed to simplify operational workflows.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mentoring and developing scrum team members strongly preferred.
- Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with leaders, stakeholders, and users.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
**Knowledge and Experience - Desired**:
- Experienced in SAFE Framework development environment.
**Travel**:
- No travels required.
