The RoleAs a Systems Programmer at Kyndryl, you will shape the foundation of the technology that drives our world. Your work includes developing, testing, and maintaining software that controls an operating system, hardware, and other systems software. You will be a master troubleshooter and problem-solver, capable of addressing complex issues. You will ensure the security of computer systems and collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement cutting-edge technology that keeps Kyndryl ahead. As a leader in this field, you will conduct RCA discussions for the products you work on and provide ongoing technical and operational guidance to lead professional work teams. You may manage departments on a national or international level, defining objectives and managing resources to ensure project success. Your expertise will influence stakeholders beyond your department, and you will have opportunities to shape the technology landscape.

Required Skills And Experience- Experience as DB2 system programmer and support
- Knowledge of SMP/E for applying PTFs and maintaining IBM software
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and software testing
- Ability to plan and execute DB2 system updates
- Experience installing preventive and on-demand maintenance for DB2 products
- Experience with DB2, z/OS, Service Now, NetView, FTP, SFTP, Connect: Direct, JCL IBM Utilities, etc., ideally in a complex GDPS environment
- Advanced English (direct communication with global client)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficient in programming languages such as Assembler, Java, Python, C, C++
