Sales Strategy & Operations is a critical function at Salesforce, propelling us towards profitable growth at scale. We work in lockstep with senior leaders, serving as trusted advisors who shape strategic business priorities, craft long-term GTM strategies, and implement outstanding operational processes, systems, and tools. We champion cross-functional transformational projects and orchestrate change management initiatives, ensuring flawless business scaling across countries, segments, and clouds.

We seek a driven Sales Strategy Analyst to join the International Mulesoft Sales Strategy team. Mulesoft is Salesforce’s largest revenue generator and among its fastest-growing segments. You'll delve deep into data, crafting insightful analyses and collaborating with the wider analyst community to build robust and scalable reporting tools/assets that illuminate business performance. You will be part of an analyst talent community in the wider Mulesoft Sales Strategy Team under the Office of COO, to learn and develop together. This high-impact role grants you exceptional visibility to senior leaders, empowering you to translate data into actionable recommendations that fuel the success of sales and cross-functional leadership.

Your responsibilities & impact:

  • Strategy and Execution Partner: Provide day-to-day support to leaders through business partners on all aspects of execution, including forecasting calls, pipeline updates, BDR performance, etc.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Build tools and dashboards that unlock new insights and findings for partners. Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations. Design and interpret key performance metrics, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Operational support: Support the Mulesoft International Sales Strategy leadership team, contributing to the operating cadence, key ad-hoc tasks, business reviews, and general reporting.

  • Strategic Decision Making: Prepare analysis and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making. Own strategic projects and ambitious initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and impactful outcomes.

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Assist in driving all steps of Salesforce's Mulesoft International Go-to-Market strategy, including market segmentation, headcount planning, territory implementation, and quota setting.

  • Process Optimization: Advocate for and implement process improvements, finding new ways to automate existing tasks and troubleshoot operational issues. Propose effective changes to systems and processes to address root causes.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales operations, business operations, or consulting, ideally within an online/SaaS company with a strong analytical focus, preferably with 2 years of relevant job experience.

  • Familiarity with CRM and Salesforce Lightning reporting, coupled with G-suite expertise (Sheets, Slides, etc.).

  • Comfortable with Excel, SQL, Tableau/Alation/Snowflake, or other Business Intelligence tools.

  • Demonstrably strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, thorough and quality-focused, with a passion for learning new concepts, business models, and technologies.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to senior leadership.

  • Comfortable with working across multiple time zones and remote teams.

  • Entrepreneurial drive, a 'get things done' attitude, and a curiosity about thriving in fast-paced environments.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

  • Self-starter with a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond.
