Senior Smartsheet Developer

We're looking for a Smartsheet Developer with hands-on experience in managing complex Smartsheet environments, including Control Center deployment, workflow automation, and dashboard/reporting enhancements. This role involves supporting internal platforms used in legal, biotech, and operational contexts. The ideal candidate will be skilled in building scalable, user-friendly solutions using Smartsheet, managing large data sets and formulas, and integrating with third-party tools via API or middleware.

Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and enhance Smartsheet solutions, including sheets, reports, dashboards, and forms
  2. Manage and deploy Control Center, including Global Updates, Blueprint Templates, and project provisioning
  3. Build complex databases within Smartsheet, using advanced formulas and data structures
  4. Create automations for business processes and ensure smooth collaboration with non-technical stakeholders
  5. Design and maintain dashboards with dynamic charting and real-time reporting features
  6. Integrate Smartsheet with external tools using KingswaySoft, Power Automate, or similar platforms
  7. Support data flows between Smartsheet and structured/semantic databases (SQL, RDF, etc.)
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to ensure smooth delivery of workflow and data solutions
Requirements
  1. 2+ years of hands-on Smartsheet development experience
  2. Proven experience with Smartsheet Control Center (project provisioning, blueprint templates, global updates)
  3. Strong command of Smartsheet formulas, automations, and dashboards
  4. Experience with integration tools (e.g., KingswaySoft, Power Automate, Zapier) and API-based data connections
  5. Solid programming foundation in Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages
  6. Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, or semantic data models
  7. Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher)
  8. Comfortable working in remote, cross-functional teams
Nice to have
  1. Experience in biotech/pharma, legal tech, or project portfolio management
  2. Familiarity with Smartsheet Bridge or DataMesh
  3. Background in web development (Flutter, React)
  4. Understanding of data visualization best practices
