**Job Title:** Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust software solutions that support our mission and goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel and MySQL, at least 5 years of experience in backend development, and experience in the healthcare sector or EHR platforms is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Development: Spearhead the development and optimization of our EHR platform using PHP/Laravel, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Database Development: Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • API Development and Integration: Develop and maintain APIs for internal and external use, facilitating seamless integration with other healthcare systems and third-party services.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure the platform's compliance with healthcare industry standards, including HIPAA, by implementing and maintaining robust security measures and data protection protocols.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel and MySQL
  • At least 5 years of experience in backend development
  • Experience in the healthcare sector or EHR platforms is highly desirable
