This strategic role will serve as the primary legal advisor for the region, supporting leadership teams and ensuring compliance with global and local legal standards. The Legal Director will play a key role in shaping Ipsen’s legal governance and enabling business success across diverse markets.**Key Responsibilities*** Provide legal counsel across LATAM, covering commercial, regulatory, and strategic matters.* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.* Ensure compliance with local laws, industry standards, and Ipsen’s internal policies.* Actively contribute to country and regional leadership teams.* Manage external counsel and oversee legal budget for the region.* Support strategic partnerships, product launches, and digital initiatives.* Collaborate closely with Ethics & Compliance, Data Privacy, and other global legal functions.**Candidate Profile*** Bachelor’s degree in Law with OAB registration; postgraduate in Corporate Law or Governance preferred.* Minimum 10 years of legal experience, including 7+ years in life sciences or pharmaceutical sectors.* Proven track record in cross-border legal advisory across LATAM jurisdictions.* Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills.* Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.* Experience in-house or advising life sciences companies in private practice.At Ipsen, we are committed to making a meaningful difference for patients and society.
