Responsibilities

• Model MEP trades (HVAC, plumbing) to project scope and client requirements, with attention to quality, LOD, and QAQC.
• Coordinate and detect clashes using Navisworks (Revizto considered but Navisworks prioritized); generate clash reports and support model accuracy.
• Collaborate on information review, modeling, and coordination phases to preempt client problems.
• Adapt modeling effort based on project scope (zones or entire buildings) and available trade information.

Minimum qualifications

• Excellent level of English (spoken and written) required; candidates must maintain fluent communication with native and non-native speakers. Candidates without this requirement will NOT be considered .
• Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction, including process piping , ductwork , sheet metal , mechanical equipment (pumps, AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers); for plumbing, domestic water , sanitary drainage , gray water , stormwater , medical gases , compressed air lines , pumps , heaters , and hangers .
• Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks (Revizto acceptable but Navisworks preferred); knowledge of BIM coordination, clash reports , QAQC , and model accuracy .
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering; architects could be considered if they have extensive experience modeling and coordinating MEP trades themselves.

Preferred/Additional qualifications

• Experience with LEVEL OF DETAIL (LOD) 400 and projects based in the US; constructability knowledge related to the US market is advantageous.
• Familiarity with BIM add-ins (e.g., Evolve , SysQue , Fabrication Parts ).
• Experience in conceptual design / BIM design assist.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D .
• Knowledge of Dynamo/Python applied to BIM.
• On-site/field experience and ability to produce detailed models with real-world fittings and connection types.
