What You’ll Do Plan, design, and execute manual tests to ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements Validate integration between front-end and back-end components in Java and Quarkus-based applications Test internal and external REST APIs, documenting test scenarios, evidence, and results Identify, track, and report defects, collaborating with development and operations teams for resolution and prevention Propose and implement continuous improvements in QA methodologies and processes Support test optimization through automation and version control Ensure the overall quality, stability, and performance of delivered software solutions What You Bring 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications Solid understanding of QA processes and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience with integration, regression, exploratory, security, and performance testing Hands‑on experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Charles, and Swagger Familiarity with Java and Quarkus Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration tools (Azure DevOps) Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, BDD, TDD) Nice to have Experience with test automation tools (Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.) Knowledge of test data generation, JSON, XML, and advanced Excel Experience creating test scripts based on BDD/TDD practices Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and results‑oriented mindset Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in agile environments Location Brazil – Remote Legal & Hiring Information Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
