Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our Application Management Services (AMS) support team. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise in SAP development, ensure smooth system operations, and deliver high-quality solutions to optimize business processes. This role focuses on supporting and enhancing SAP applications by analyzing issues, developing custom solutions, and collaborating with functional teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, forms, workflows, reports, and interfaces. Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide AMS support by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving SAP application issues across modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.). Perform root cause analysis on recurring incidents and propose long-term fixes. Implement code corrections, performance tuning, and system optimization to enhance stability and user experience. Adhere to development standards, change management processes, and documentation practices. Support system upgrades, patches, and new releases by validating and adapting custom developments. Participate in knowledge transfer, process improvement, and continuous service delivery initiatives. Qualifications & Skills ADVANCED/FLUENT ENGLISH Available to work in US time zones 8+ years experience Experience in SAP ABAP development, implementation projects and AMS or production support in ECC & S4HANA (on-premise & cloud) environments. Strong Expertise In Reports (Classical & Interactive) SmartForms / Adobe Forms / SAPscript Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements Framework) Data Dictionary Objects (Tables, Views, Structures, etc.) Interfaces (ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, Web Services) Workflow development (classic and advanced) Performance tuning and troubleshooting Other Nice To Have Skills Familiarity with SAP BTP, Fiori development including Fiori elements, and API consumption/exposure is very desirable.
