Baloo Living (balooliving.com ) is a US-based direct-to-consumer sleep wellness company offering science-backed weighted blankets and linen accessories to help people feel grounded, rested, and well. As an award-winning, profitable, and mission-driven company with 8 years in business, we are now focused on deepening our brand, scaling efficiently, and expanding partnerships.
As the Performance Marketing Lead, you'll work directly with our founder/CEO to guide and execute the growth roadmap and play a key role in scaling DTC revenue—primarily by improving new customer acquisition and website performance. You'll oversee direct-to-consumer growth marketing, website merchandising, conversion rate optimization, paid media and comms, while owning the strategy, systems, tools, and performance tracking that drive a profitable, brand-led business. You'll focus on finding the right audiences and converting them with best-in-class landing and product pages. The ideal candidate bridges a pure growth mindset with hands-on Shopify expertise—and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to deliver exceptional customer experiences and optimize the Shopify app ecosystem.
Accountabilities:
- Website/store performance: CVR, AOV, & LTV
- CRO & landing page tests (offers, PDPs, flows, UX) with dev support
- Email/lifecycle testing with our Klaviyo partner
- Meta ads: hands-on buying + structured creative testing with our Brand teammate
- Google: manage our external Google media buyer—set strategy, testing roadmap, and KPI targets
- Channel expansion: evaluate and run paid on YouTube, Pinterest, and other platforms when ROI looks promising
- Reporting/attribution + Shopify app stack
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing Shopify websites.
- DTC Ecommerce industry experience required (wellness or beauty a plus)
- Proven track record of optimizing cross-channel media campaigns through Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and other media buying platforms.
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, site merchandising, optimizing customer journeys, and unit economics in the DTC sales channel.
- Experience working directly with agencies and web developers in alignment with technical roadmaps and project management.
- Comfortably collaborative with a visionary founder—able to push back with data
- Demonstrated ability to manage and follow best-practices in Shopify back-end management, with discerning eye on apps that drive revenue expansion.
- Experience with analytics tools like Triple Whale, GA4, Shopify Analytics, or similar platforms.
- An early adopter mindset when it comes to AI tools.
- Knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem as it relates to attribution and business performance is a plus, as Amazon is managed by an agency.
Compensation:
- Compensation of $3,500 to $5,000 USD/month. Please note that the final offer may vary based on the candidate's seniority, specific skill set, and performance throughout the evaluation and interview process.
