OverviewSenior Legal Counsel role at Aqua Capital.
Mission
Manage, end-to-end, portfolios of tails (earnouts, escrows, retentions, installments, and contingent credits). Ensure optimal recoveries, mitigate legal and operational risks, disciplined execution, agility in disputes/arbitrations, and robust governance—contributing directly to the expected returns of the Funds at exit. ResponsibilitiesTail portfolio management and monitoring. Financial recovery and legal-operational execution.
Mitigation of legal, contractual, and accounting risks. Contingency management and pricing. Relationship and stakeholder management. Continuous improvement and process standardization.

Characteristics of the successful professional for this roleStrong legal expertise (M&A, contract analysis, arbitration and/or litigation). Analytical rigor, especially in quantifying and assessing contingencies vs. expected returns.
Experience
in litigation management (via partner law firms) and legal cost control. Excellent organizational skills, particularly with documentation and process discipline.
