We embrace problem solvers who aren't afraid to experiment and fail and are ready to create something new.- You will have the opportunity to work in a highly innovative and state-of-the-art environment and transform the way people communicate and tell stories- We are at a sufficiently early-stage level that you can meaningfully contribute, but at a nicely established situation, where our largest chances to fail are behind us**JOB DESCRIPTION**WORKING SCHEDULE**:Dedicated (hybrid with flexible in-person schedule)**The role requires a self-starter, who is able to work autonomously driving projects and tasks within the the Finance and Legal team (FLT) in Brazil and the US, and cross-functionally with other areas of the company. You will master information processes and be able to effectively support our decision-making process and long term strategy. **This is a high-level impact and stock option eligible position.****MAIN CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES**:- Support the construction, management, and enhancement of cutting-edge tools dedicated to the collection, consolidation, and analysis of data within an ambiguous startup environment;- Push the development of robust information and data structures, fostering the integration of both structured and unstructured data sources for comprehensive insights;- Uphold the reliability and optimize the performance of our data platform to ensure seamless operations, reconciling and validating data across various sources, and identifying discrepancies and implementing solutions to improve data integrity;- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, leveraging data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization;- Translate intricate demands from internal stakeholders into a seamlessly functional and integrated data framework, aligning closely with FLT’s and company’s objectives.- Collaborate with FLT to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial data is integrated into analyses, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making;- Help provide timely and insightful data reports and visualizations, supporting decision-makers in understanding trends, patterns, and opportunities within FLT and the company;- Collaborate closely with FLT and executive leadership, actively contributing to the creation of innovative data-driven solutions that generate substantial value for the company.**REPORTING**:- Directly to the Head of Control and Report, with direct exposure to the CFO.**SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES TEND TO**:- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and accountability;- Be a self-starter, welcome collaboration and relationship-building;- Communicate clearly and concisely;- Analyze problems rigorously and in an organized manner;- Hold themselves and others to high standards.**REQUIREMENTS**:- Graduation in any STEM or related field;- Solid programming skills, especially in mainstream languages: JavaScript, SQL, R and/or Python;- Mastery of Math and Statistics is expected. Report and Visualization is a plus. i.e Tableau;- A passion for numbers, finance, technology, games, movies, TV, art, animation, and electronics;- Fluent in English. Overseas experience or previous data science exposure is a plus;- Knowledge of Google Apps for Work, Slack, MS Office Suite.
